Participating in the Toys for Tots program this year for the second time, we will have our annual Toys for Tots box in the office lobby thru Friday, December 16, 2016. Last year we were able to fill up the box with everyone’s contributions, so let’s do the same, or better, this year. Thank you for thinking of those that are less fortunate this time of year.
We are pleased to announce that we will have a new Project Manager, Nathan Radcliff, joining us December 12, 2016. He will be the Project Manager assigned to the Fayetteville Airport project and will work with Page Martin to get this project up and running. Nathan will manage the project from the jobsite trailer. Chris Forsythe will be the on-site Superintendent with Dan Shields, Senior Superintendent, supervising.
The Fayetteville Airport project is in the final stages of VE analysis and pricing. The Architect informed us last week that we should have a contract in place and an NTP on the project on/about 2/1/17.
This is another landmark project for our company, so keep your eyes and ears open as the team starts engaging.

We are pleased to announce Aimee Heath has been assigned as the “Office Manager” for the company. Aimee will continue to perform her current duties and is available to help on all special projects or when needed to support any project team. Congratulations Aimee!
We are pleased to announce that we have added a new Superintendent to our team. – Andy Atkins started on Monday, 11/28/16, and will be overseeing the push towards the scheduled completion for the M. C. Benton renovation project, finish date projected for May 2017.
Last fall at Resolute, we upgraded our construction management software to the web based Procore. This fall, in addition to adding fiber internet services, we upgraded our office phone system as well. An Atcom product user for over 30 years, Resolute, was still using our original Atcom voice messaging products from the early 1980’s! On Monday, November 28, 2016 we officially implemented our new Atcom VoIP phone system.
On Wednesday, December 7th, Resolute cooked out for the guys on-site in Durham and reviewed the balcony safety straps that we installed, creating a safer workplace.

To show our appreciation, we hosted a “Top Out Luncheon” to celebrate this important milestone of completing the structure of the building on Thursday, November 3rd.
Resolute’s Family Fall Outing took place on Saturday, November 19th at UNC Chapel Hill for a tailgate and the UNC vs Citadel football game, as the continuing Indian Summer provided excellent football weather. The tailgate spot was almost at the very top of the Bell Tower parking deck, with a perfect view of the pre-game festivities at the Bell Tower Park as well as a limited view of the playing field.
Philip and his wife Mary welcomed a new healthy, 7 lb 6 oz baby girl into their family on September 29, 2016. Join us in congratulating Philip, Mary and 3 year old Addie on the arrival of Anna Marshall. Philip is currently the Project Manager for the Garner Town Hall and Wake Chapel Christian Church projects.
